James Barth - Certified IOTC Instructor

James Barth is a passionate advocate for constitutional education and a proud child of the one true living God. Residing in Erin, Tennessee, just south of Clarksville, James moved to the area in 2022 with his wife and daughter, transitioning from his long-time home in Wyoming.

With over two decades of service in the U.S. Army, James rose to the rank of CW2 in the Georgia National Guard, dedicating himself to his country and community. His commitment to public service extended into the political realm, where he once ran for sheriff of Laramie County, Wyoming. Through this experience, he developed a deep understanding of the U.S. Constitution and its original intent.

A strong advocate for states' rights, James focuses particularly on the 10th and 14th Amendments. He emphasizes the importance of sovereignty for states and challenges misconceptions about the rights of noncitizens. His mission is to clarify these issues and promote a true understanding of the Constitution, advocating that the principles outlined in it should guide our understanding of citizenship and rights.

James is especially vocal about the distinction between a democracy and a republic, passionately asserting that the United States is a republic where power rests in the hands of its citizens. He believes that true patriotism lies not in blind obedience to the government, but in fidelity to the principles that the government is meant to uphold.

With a heart for educating others, James Barth is on a mission to dispel misconceptions about the Constitution and inspire a deeper appreciation for the values that define our nation.
